As of December 2022, LUME is proud to announce that we will be certified with the Dance Education Equity Association, aka DEEA (pronounced dee-double e- a); an organization dedicated to supporting dance education through our BE COURAGEOUS courses and community collaboration. We provide education and establish policies, procedures, and compassionate accountability pathways to embed anti-racism, anti-othering, and anti-abuse practices into the DNA of dance education. By working together, in compassion, we will build dance education spaces for all.
