About the event
IGNITE MEMBER: Hope Maloney will be teaching for Ignite teaches. She first started dancing at the age of 12 doing styles such as contemporary, jazz, tap, and ballet. Once in high school she also trained in hip hop foundation styles after joining the dance group iPush. Since moving to LA in 2019 Hope has been in the Super bowl LVI Halftime Show, been a dancer and choreographers assistant on music videos, danced for the upcoming Nickelodeon animated film “Max and the Midnights,” and has appeared in a few burlesque shows.
For class Hope will be teaching some contemporary fusion choreography with the intention of guiding dancers through their own interpretations. Focusing on musicality and allowing the music to guide each persons individual style.
